2018 Cabernet Collection Laura Lee
Tasting notes
This complex wine opens with a floral bouquet and ripe notes of dark cherry, raspberry jam, and black currants. Swirling brings forth cinnamon, orange peel, slate minerals and blackberries. The body of this wine is medium to full with a slightly angular mouthfeel and racy acidity, which adds some youthful texture. Flavors of black and red cherries, licorice, black tea, smoke, and cedar show on the palate with gripping tannins and a long finish. Enjoy now or in the next 10 years.
