Tasting notes
Dark chocolate, figs, dark cherry and basil. The 2019 Merlot shows medium intensity and beautiful sweetness on the nose. Swirling brings oak and baking spices, mocha, tobacco leaf, and strawberry jam. The mouthfeel is soft, with good density, mellow tannins and pleasant acidity, showcasing ripe red fruit, cinnamon and hints of menthol. The wine finishes fairly long and dry, with a touch of grip. Drink now or in the next 8 years.
